Length of time watches are on Dealer Market
Any idea how long the watches may stay on the Dealer Market? Will there be reductions in price for those that have not sold in awhile?

I'm an original Bremont collector who turned away from the brand as their prices mounted and the marketing stories took over. But I had so much genuine fun and still find the watches so handsome and versatile, I kept some and recently started to acquire some their classics.
Prices on pieces from when the founders still controlled the company are of course lower, but their good stuff is starting to become more rare. Collectors are holding on to some of the best models.
My question is, do you think its worth it to collect classic Bremont now? Does FTW, consider Bremont watches from the founders' era up to a standard and desirability that are worth collecting over the long-term? Are they respectable enough for me to continue acquiring? Regardless of my enjoying them!?

I've always desired the Panerai Laminar 306 (titanium, tobacco dial, tourbillion, dual timezone). Its a LE of just 150 pieces from about 2 decades ago.
A few are now on Chrono24, with one, described as "like new" at $30K. But is even that really worth it for a titanium Panerai today?
Should I wait longer for more to appear at cheaper prices?

First of all, I wish there was more women involved in this watch forum. My beautiful wife is an amazing soundboard on new purchases, as well as the recipient of some wonderful timepieces herself! I always learn something new whilst asking her opinion and advice. She’s a doctor, so much smarter that me in soooo many ways… 🤣
I’ve collected allocated bourbons, SMW’s and red wine, mostly Syrah/Grenache/Tempranillo, for many years. Anyone interested in the same game? 🍷🥃
Currently, I’m trying to source a Patek 5396R-O11 and a vintage 60’s Porsche 356. I’m very interested in your passion and a long discussion with a great backstory!
Cheers, Gregory -

I have been into watches since I was 14 years old and 40 years later they still intrigue me.
As a young man, even without being able to own anything of any notoriety or prestige, it did not matter.
without the internet, I could go to the library and fill the back seat of a car with books about watches. :)
And to this day, I am grateful that the intrigue never ends!
There have been infinite brands that have produced watches under the Swiss Made banner.
From dollar store pin levers to the finest escapements and complications available today, there are just certain obscure brands from history, that either dissappeared completely or are just not available in every market.
One such brand that I always liked was Marvin. I felt that they always had a classic look and decent quality when it came to their movements.
Below, I posted a pic of a current model, the Malton Round M116 with Power Reserve.
I think that they kept true to their classic look on the dial (pictured), but added a touch of modern in the recessed sides of the case.(Not pictured)
Powered by a slightly modified ETA 2897 and exhibition back. I think they offer some real value at retail in the low $2000's.
Give me some other obscure brands that are missing the love!
As a dealer, this is one of the better ways to minimize your cost and possibly increase your return.

Been considering purchasing a medium Santos. This listing is considerably less expensive than others in the US. It’s also a little confusing if this watch comes with the papers. So no papers in the listing and then says has papers in the description. Thoughts on this deal and anyone familiar with seller?

What kind of color difference should you expect between the lume on a vintage watch’s dial vs its hands?
On this example, the dial plots have a nice pumpkin tone, but the hand lume is much lighter. Is that normal aging, or does it suggest the hands might not be original?

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any recommended sites to find vintage watch parts? I’m looking for some specific small pushers (3.0mm diameter pusher top) for a Pierce chronograph (Landeron 48 movement). It appears to be a bit of a needle in a haystack to find. Thanks!

With all of the modern technoligies available to companies in this modern age, I sometimes only so impressed with some of the watches being produced. From Aesthetics to mechanical ingenuity, computer do a lot of the work.
I really appreciate the simplicty of many vintage pieces.
Here is one of my favorites within my personal collection.
A late 1940's to early 1950's Wittnauer Triple Date Calendar.
I know, it is only a Wittnauer, but a very difficault one to find and at only 36mm I still feel comfortable throwing it on my 7.5" wrist.
What's your favorite?
