With regard to the Dealer's Market, I totally get why the listings are pretty barebones, including the photos. However, there are a few watches where you seem to be listing them both on Delray and on the Dealer's Market at the same time. the PAM00716 is an example. It is notable that there is a substantial difference in price, which is an interesting at a point. But there are a ton more photos on Delray than here. In cases like that, where you literally have already taken and uploaded the photos, why not throw them in the dealer listing too?

Curious if anyone has participated in Loupe This or Watch Collecting auctions and what your experience has been. I lurk around Loupe This and have seen some decent sales and their vetting seems good. I'm tempted to jump in. Tougher for me to get too jazzed for Watch Collecting with the pound sterling conversion and duties and tariffs. I know there's other auctions out there but these two are what I currently peruse.

It might be fun to share examples about what O call “fun” watches - watches under $1,000 that have unconventional dials - they may have funky colors or themes. They aren’t somethin!g you would wear every day to the office but just out on from time to time to make you smile.

For me, I have 2 watches from Mr Jones Watches - the sun and moon and the last laugh. I also have a Studio Underdog desert sky.

Just got it in a few days ago. It came with a yellow and a blue band as well as a bracelet. I still need to size the bracelet but it’s looking sweet in yellow.

Hi guys and girls - I’ve been looking to buy a Bulgari blue dial Octo Finissimo since early summer. Didn’t want to pay $13600 for a new one but love the watch. Tried one on in Madrid this past Fall when we were visiting. Anyway, I checked out the Marketplace on Sunday night and saw it for a really good price ($8950.00) and decided to trade in my Rolex Datejust white dial that I bought new a few years ago. Mailed it to Fed on Monday - he supplied the label, he got it Tuesday, confirmed on Wednesday that it was good to go and I received the Bulgari today - Thursday with a check for the difference. Smoooth transaction and Fed gave me a fair price for my trade. I am so pleased with this transaction and highly recommend Fed. I’m sure the Delray watch side is just as good and professional. This FTW membership is well worth the monthly fee.

I was never interested in picking up icons from different brands. I tended to dive deep into model lines and brands - first Omega and later/now Breguet. The former was the planet ocean and the vintage seamaster line. For Breguet it's the classique, marine, and type xx line.

I fell for Omega Seamster watches, first it was the divers - i loved the old Seamster 300 with the big bezel (165.024). But also the straight lugs on a circler case pre-de ville models just were perfect.

It wasn't a big jump to Breguet which have that straight lug design as well with the Classique line and it's older marine lines. To this day I'm continuing to save and wait for a marine big date in gold as my next purchase.

I recently subscribed FTW collective with a VIP membership… I joined with the purpose of finding very specific pieces, building my personal watch collection.

Minutes after joining I found a watch from Carl F Bucherer… a Watch manufacturer I’ve been looking to add to my collection. Established in 1888 the brand is recognized for high-end in-house Swiss movements, contemporary designs, and superior finishing. The watch I found was a CFB Adamavi with a periwinkle blue dial… described as: ”Pre-Owned. Very Good Condition. Shows almost no signs of wear.” this watch retailed new for $2850, I was very familiar with it. It was offered for sale at $800. I purchased it immediately. Again, this was my first purchase and I was not familiar with the process from this point on… this was Saturday night 8:30 PM. I know I had to watch on hold, but I wanted to process the payment ASAP to ensure it was mine. I sent a message through the support link in this app not expecting to hear back until Monday morning sometime. In about three minutes, I received a reply with the answers to my questions. I immediately processed the transfer of funds and received an answer back a few few moments later .. “Thank you for the purchase”. THE WATCH WAS MINE!!! I then received an additional email to provide my shipping information, etc. Today is Tuesday and I received the watch at 4 PM today!!! Literally one and a half business days after purchasing it.., the watch is absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!! As far as I’m concerned it looks like new old stock. It still has the factory blue stickers on the bracelet!!! I honestly couldn’t be happier with every step of the process, and to receive a watch that exceeded my expectations. It really is the greatest feeling in the world!!! it certainly will be another cherished peace in my collection!

Hey Fed - both privately and publicly, members are feeling antsy. Personally, I just got charged for my third payment and I think everyone will agree the progress of everything has been a bit stuck in the mud. I have purchased three five figure watches since the inception of FTW collective that I had hoped would be related to this group but have not been.

The forum form and functionality is still bad by any objective and subjective measure, and needs to be changed yesterday. By your own stated metrics and goals the marketplace is still way behind. None of this thus far is a platform that should be charging members money, this is a slow launch beta that should be in experimantal phase.

That being said, and speaking on behalf of myself and others who are sharing the same sentiment: what can we do to help? Everyone wants to see this succeed and you have a lot of members who could assist in making this better.

We are here and eager to help wherever we can to have a positive impact.

Lets make this the greatest watch nerd group of all time!

Curious if anyone tunes in to the Vookum Ebay Live events? He holds them a couple of times a week and it's pretty remarkable how often watches sell well below their "expectations". Heavy heavy heavy Rolex emphasis. Some tremendous deals to be had for sure.

Is it me, am I imagining ghis or someone else noticed that the bracelet on Bulgari octa finisimo is very sharp at the edges and not as well made as let's say Cartier or even GP? Love the watch but tried in store and I can't imagining wearing it for any length of time.

I am getting the itch for another watch to accompany me on my many travels. I currently mainly use the Nomos Tangomat Worldtime, which I still love. It is sturdy, quirky and also not so expensive that I would freak out if something happened to it.

That being said variety is the spice of life and I am getting the itch. What do you guys wear when traveling?

This is the best price I found for the watch, but is the seller legit? Reviews on the web are mostly good, but some people say to steer clear of Feldmar Watch Company.

I really like them but I really don't want to pay that much for a niche indy running an ETA base with some magnets floating around. I think 20 years down the road and it give me the willies.

I’ve have the H. Moser Pioneer Centre Seconds 40mm (same model currently on FTW dealer market) on the black rubber strap it came with, and I’ve been looking to add the stainless steel bracelet. I haven’t been able to find an online retailer selling it. My local AD (Mayors in Tampa) can order one, but it’s $2,400. Does anyone know if these ever show up on the secondary market or another place to source one?

I notice a lot of microbrands and newer brands are doing Jumping Hour watches (I think Maen has one, Radcliffe has one). Not only that, bigger brands are using it regularly too (I think Cartier had one, MB&F’s M.A.D.2 has one). Is it a cheaper and easier type of movement? Gimmicky? Basic? Looks cooler than it really is?

Does anyone have recommendations for reliable dealers of vintage Omegas? I am looking for one for a 60th birthday gift for a family member. I want to reduce the risk of buying a lemon so would prefer somewhere that offers a warranty and prefer US based to avoid tariffs.
