Considerations First time Selling a watch
What precautions should someone take when selling a watch—either to a dealer or on the secondary market—to protect their privacy and preserve their relationship with their authorized dealer?
I am especially interested in how this applies to Rolex. For example, should the seller include or withhold the warranty card, sales receipt, hang tags, purchase history, or any paperwork that could identify the original AD or purchaser? Are there best practices for avoiding unnecessary exposure while still making the watch attractive to a serious buyer?
I want to understand the proper etiquette and privacy considerations before selling. I feel like I may be missing out on experiencing new watches simply because I cannot let go of previous purchases. (sorry if there is a guide or video answering this topic)
