Does anyone have any recommended sites to find vintage watch parts? I’m looking for some specific small pushers (3.0mm diameter pusher top) for a Pierce chronograph (Landeron 48 movement). It appears to be a bit of a needle in a haystack to find. Thanks!

With all of the modern technoligies available to companies in this modern age, I sometimes only so impressed with some of the watches being produced. From Aesthetics to mechanical ingenuity, computer do a lot of the work.

I really appreciate the simplicty of many vintage pieces.

Here is one of my favorites within my personal collection.

A late 1940's to early 1950's Wittnauer Triple Date Calendar.

I know, it is only a Wittnauer, but a very difficault one to find and at only 36mm I still feel comfortable throwing it on my 7.5" wrist.

Is it inappropriate to ask(with courtesy, of course) for discounts at Cartier boutiques? I’m potentially interested in a De Santos down the line; I’ve come across some conflicting information on this and wanted to make sure that I follow proper etiquette and not make an unnecessary bad impression if I can help it.

Are there any generally accepted conventions when negotiating with a dealer for a vintage watch? Is it always worth seeing the dealer will take less than asking price, or is that bad form if review of comps suggests the asking price is fair?

Is this a fair price for a Rolex Date Just 41 Wimbledon? The watch is two tone gold, oyster bracelet, fluted bezel, and the manufacturer's warranty runs to the end of December 2028, Thanks Gerry

Interested in purchasing a Breitling Superocean Heritage on Chrono24. Watch is dated 2025, and is unworn/new condition. Do these watches generally fall under the Breitling warranty?

I have an opportunity to purchase a JLC Duometre (apprx year is 2012) for $16,800. The watch is 40.5mm diameter and ~13.4mm in height. The watch is naked (no box and no papers) but I trust the seller and have done prior business with him. I have tried on the watch and its a special timepiece, certainly one that you don't see every day. Given that the watch is naked, is $16,800 reasonable and given the uniqueness of this watch, should find an example that does come with papers?

Anyone have recommendations for good watch shops in Munich, Leipzig, Bamberg, or Berlin? Driving through Germany at the end of the year and looking for some places worth stopping to see great German and other watches. Thanks!
