I've noticed something over the years: no matter where a collector ends up, Rolex, Patek, independents, vintage, or high horology, a surprising number of us seem to have owned a Panerai at some point.

It got me wondering...

What percentage of FTWC members currently own a Panerai, or have owned one in the past?

Why do you think Panerai has become almost a rite of passage for so many collectors?

What do you think draws collectors in?
