Thought to kick off the start of Sleep Deprivation Time after trying out the Grand Seiko SLGC009 Tentagraph at their Miami boutique (cool guys working there). I have to say, the watch kinda got to me in a brutalist, WTF kinda way. Color, size, and case angles won't work for everyone, but I dug it. Light, comfortable and killer finishing and dial. I know; it's large and the retail is in pre-owned, nice two-tone Daytona territory, but this is completely different and knows it. Ten beats a second, 72-hour power, dual impulse escapement, twin barrels, blah, blah. Different! For kicks, what say you?

I just saw the livestream about the different marketplaces to buy used watches.

I was wondering what your thoughts are about the new Pushers app by Mike Nouveau. As a relative newbie I’m really worried about scams, so a platform where the dealers are vetted is exactly what I’m looking for.

I’ve been dipping in and out of vintage collecting. Just wanted to share this watch that belongs to a friend. Pretty awesome!

I have been on a weird watch kick lately!

I am LOVING my SpaceOne pieces (small outfit out of Paris). I know they are not for everyone and they are certainly not for every occaision but I find them so playful! Also the watchmaking on offer for the price is absolutely insane. I think this is a brand that I will eventually pick up all their new releases...

And yes... I paid full retail lol!

Hi Fellow Watch lovers,

I understand the economics, no box and papers means lower value and tougher resale, but I’ve been told most secondary purchases don’t include them. I’m fine with a Rolex sports model without them, yet I hesitate on higher horology. I’m looking at an A. Lange & Söhne that’s “naked,” and I feel pieces at that level should have complete provenance. Is that a sensible stance or am I costing myself thousands?
