What is everyone wearing?

Here’s a fun topic (I think):

What watch were you wearing when a random person (not at a watch event) came up to you and said “I noticed your watch. What watch is it?” Or “is that a (brand of watch”?

I will start: it happened to me with a Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar (“is that a Panomatic Lunar? I’ve had my eye on getting one”) and with a Grand Seiko “Shosho” (light blue wave dial GMT)

I thought last year’s Hautlence Retrovision ‘85 was really really cool, but my word … this new MB&F H12 Guardian is mind-blowing! 🤯

I think I may have a watch problem…

In the past month I have somehow managed to purchase or place orders for:

• Kurono Tokyo Anniversary Malachite
• Laine V38
• Kudoke 2 (Dark Rhodium Tremblage)
• Konstantin Chaykin Joker Golden Mask

At this point I’m not sure if I’m building a collection or just collecting waiting lists.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s gone down a watch rabbit hole and suddenly realized four watches were ordered in a matter of weeks. 😅

Anyone else have a similar story, or should I start attending Watch Collectors Anonymous meetings?
