Hey Fed -

After getting a grail request allocation and purchase from FTWC or luckily acquired a special piece outside the Collective, can we then replace that original grail request (within our profile) with another sought after watch? Is it two & done or a possible continuum… Thank you!

I think it may be handy for all members to chime in on who they use for service as well as some other details. Please only chime in if you have had first hand experience with the service provider. Please include details such as what you had serviced and if you would recommend or not.

Chronosky Miami- Great indy service center for entry level to mid level watches. I would say from Movado to Breguet. These are your guys, fair prices, and while wait times are not short (1-4 months depending on the piece) this is kind of standard now a days, if not quite a bit shorter than normal.

Swiss Watch Repair Co on Madision Ave in NY- Alkis is a true master watchmaker. Top notch work for all the best brands. Lange, AP, Patek etc... Prices are high and wait times are long (sometimes over a year) but the work is truly top notch and he can accomplish almost anything. Highly recommended for your special watch projects.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated. Fedex has been massively disrupted this week (weather). We have many dozens of watches stuck in Memphis that are destined for the marketplace. We will work as quickly as possible to get them up once they arrive.

Hey guys, I want to take a minute to introduce you to two members of my expert team - TaoChin and BigTX.

Both are industry insiders and admittedly much smarter than I am (but I'm better looking).

I met TaoChin many years ago on a watch junket in Switzerland and then we worked together when I was his rep at Richemont and he was at another AD. He currently works at a multi-brand AD in the North East, he's a true watch nerd and a great guy. His identity has to be private because most ADs frown on their employees sharing inside information and they are specifically required not to participate in social media discussions around product. We've bounced ideas off of each other for years and I'm sure he'll be a welcome addition to the pro team at FTW.

BigTX is a B2B dealer that I've worked with since the launch of Delray. We call each other weekly to discuss deals and potential opportunities and he knows the ins and outs of buying and selling even better than I do. Most importantly he's a true watch geek (unlike 99% of wholesalers) and loves sharing his knowledge and talking about watches.
