Hey guys . . . very excited about this unique feature we are launching this weekend. I promised we would add some cool new functionality and this feature should be a game-changer. Please watch the video explainer below:
If you have any questions or comments about FIND MY GRAIL please post in this thread and we will get back to you.

Hi Guys,
Quick question. What brands are you looking for. When I do my buying I am always curious what brands specifically my customers are looking for. Don't tell me specific watches, as that can be quite hard for me to remember and sift through, but what brands in general (excluding Rolex) would you guys like to see in the marketplace?
Best,
Fed

I’m wondering if anyone has come across this limited edition Czapek. The watch was made for the 100 anniversary of Polish independence. There are only 15 made of the Warszawianka series. While the Tribute to Poland has only 8. Definitely a grail piece for me.

Any thoughts on good secondary market sources for the new model Breguet Type XX's. Their value tanks so hard on the secondary market that I personally find it impossible to justify purchasing one from an AD, but other than handful with delusional asks on chrono24, they don't seem to come up very often. I imagine that's probably just going to be the game...it's not a high volume piece so you have to be ready to pounce when an odd one comes up at a good price. But sometimes dealers play in a niche, and though I might check to see if anyone in the group knows a dealer(s) that source(s) a lot of Breguet.

Hey guys, I posed this question to the team at the beginning of the venture but didn't receive a reply so I'm repeating here.
Is there a chance/plan for buyers outside of USA to be able to buy these watches from one of several Federico's business which are on other contents (referencing those businesses from the original Founding members video).
A simple example, the Octo Finissimo offered on the site for a very tempting 8950USD (7620 EUR) comes up to 12685USD (10.800EUR) with all the taxes and duties here in Croatia.
There is an equal (unworn) example on chrono24 for 8.600EUR from Italy.
In short, I know most of the members are US side but in time the number of international members will grow.. and at the moment the prices even as low as they are don't really make sense for us.
Thank you,
D

Hi Everyone,
I have a vintage Rolex Datejust, white dial, two-tone, jubilee with fluted bezel, with box and papers in my collection. The watch is in excellent condition, as it is rarely worn, which is the reason why I am considering selling it. I'd rather put the money into something else to add to my collection that I wear more frequently. But, I am hesitant to sell it for the offers I've received lately. They are too low in my opinion. I've been told the vintage Rolex market is soft now. No one has a crystal ball, but what opinion does everyone have on the vintage Rolex market? Do you see it coming back in the near future, or going down even further?
Thanks!

I was offered an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M "Commander's Watch", ref. 212.32.41.20.04.001. It's a 2017 watch, in very good condition (some minor scratches on the bracelet) and a full set (special box, papers, extra strap, strap tool all in perfect condition).
The seller is reputable (an AD for various brands and an official Omega service center) and the price includes a full service on the watch upon sale. Asking price is $6,450 (EUR 5,500 - tax included), but the seller already told me he could get a discount, so I'm pretty sure I can get it down to $5,850 (EUR 5,000). Do you think that's a good price?
Thanks,
Eric

Hi, guys!
I'm looking to buy a Seamaster Bond (first gen, ref. 2531.80, but with luminova instead of tritium). Got 2 questions for you:
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to get your opinion on the Rolex Explorer II 40mm Polar "Chicchi Di Mais" dial Ref. 16570. I believe "Chicchi Di Mais" means Kernels/Grains of Corn in Italian which is in reference to the heavy yellow patina on the hour markers. These watches in good condition usually go for over $10,000+. Do you think they are worth the price or is it just hype?

Couldn’t find anywhere on the site what the sales tax policy is. Would appreciate seeing this policy listed in the faq section. Thanks.

Curious what YouTube channels people like for watch content? Been a subscriber to Fed’s channel years and it’s one of my favorites but I also really enjoy the content Mike puts out on his channel “This Watch, That Watch”. However I’m not a fan of Brit Pierce (formally Watch Gringa). What channels do you like or dislike?

Couple of questions for Federico:

Perusing Chrono24 there are always much lower prices coming out of Japan. Not to mention some brands/models only sold there.
Why are their prices consistently lower? What should I be cautious of if looking for a watch from there?
--
I'd like to add an 80's to 90's piece with box and papers, CPO, or Rolex service papers to my collection.
For those who have owned an Oyster Quartz, what was your wearing experience? What was the battery life? Is it reasonable to change the battery at home?
Any insight would be appreciated.

The case diameter in the ad is incorrect. The watch is 34mm.
When looking at current Omega reference numbers, the third set of digits is the case diameter. In this case (pun intended!), it's 34mm.

I hope this post doesn't come across as negative but what is the long term plan for this place? I totally see the value add if you happen to find a watch you like in the dealers market section relative to the retail value. However, thus far all the stuff there is Delray Watch stock and not what I would call the most desirable inventory for the most part. The forum look and functionality is very clunky and sparse. This inhibits user participation (particularly the lack of ability to add photos, gifs etc.) which is half the fun. There are tons of out of the box forum templates that can plug right in and be more complete and user friendly.
I get that its the first few weeks but is the intention to bring on other dealers that will boost the inventory diversity in the marketplace or is this intended to be a Delray Watch sales channel only?
Wishing this place every success, cheers all

There are deals all over the internet however one of the hardest things is how to trust and but a good seller, this is one of the reasons I joined FTW where I hope I will see all kinds of interesting watches. In the meantime this is a watch I came across that I like, is it a good deal? almost everything on the site is described as 99% LNIB.
